[There is apparently one section on the fifth floor that's full of royally pissed off people. This lovely little announcement starts out with the sound of a hand slamming a communicator several times because the thing just isn't turning on fast enough, or working to his liking.]

Anyone up for a game of chess or Pai Sho or... practically anything? I have a ridiculous amount of games.

I'll need about twenty minutes to clean my room. [Because he has been breaking things left and right.]

I think I'll be leaving soon. At least for a little while. [Possibly for good. He's not sure yet. He's thinking that might be the case.] I need someone to be responsible for Ben for me, but I need to see my daughter. "Blame" whoever you like, I can't be of any use right now.

Can you tell me? Or is it the sort of deal where it's her secrets to tell.

[He picks up a few more broken pieces from the floor and wonders if any of them can be repaired.]

I'll keep an eye on her, too, while you're gone if you want.

[Dylan tries to practice reading between the lines, Nietzschean style. He's switched to talking about her warden, and not Lua herself, so he guesses that there's more going on here than he knows, but that it involves something personal and Gaheris' isn't going to betray Lua's confidences.

He's also mentioning someone else who has tried to save Lua. Dylan makes a guess at what Gaheris *isn't* saying.]

It's not your fault. You can't guard her 24/7 and you can't make her stay away from Ladd if she doesn't want to.

[Dylan stands again and follows Gaheris' gaze. He doesn't have the whole story, but he has enough to understand why Gaheris is so enraged. Not just murder of a friend, although that's bad enough. Murder, and betrayal of trust between intimates, and a violation of everything Nietzscheans hold most dear.

He claps his hand on Gaheris' shoulder.]

I get it. Go. Go enjoy your family and enjoy having what he's never going to have because he threw it all away. That's a pretty good revenge and one that won't get you into trouble.
